Garden suburb walk Winterslag or Waterschei

To give miners a place to live, garden suburbs were created. Geïn inspired by the English garden suburbs that were popular at the time, cities cités were built close to the mines in green surroundings. They remained occupied after the mine was closed and they have retained a certain charm. An experienced city guide will lead you through these beautiful garden suburbs.
