FLACC

FLACC (Flanders Arts & Crafts Centre), is a workshop for visual artists, housed in the Casino Modern.

Every year about 15 national and international artists are selected to start a new project. Other artists too can start work based on a suggested project.

The FLACC offers them support regarding content and on an organisational and technical level to realise a number of unique artistic projects.

FLACC has professionally equipped studios for metal- and wood work, a digital studio and an oven studio for ceramics, bronze and glass applications. Moreover, the organisation co operates with neighbouring studios, schools, and businesses for maximum support of the artists.

FLACC also has work- and presentation areas and the artists have two studio supervisors for technical support.

At regular intervals FLACC exhibits the creations from the studio. This happens through exhibitions, workshops, lectures and an annual 'open house'.
