En route you will discover this English inspired garden suburb with its typical houses and its prestigious mining infrastructure, interspersed with green oases and the necessary public conveniences. 2 - Winterslag cultural walk (4 km)
This walk leaves from the Winterslag mining buildings and leads you past the architecturally most interesting locations of the garden suburb. The Winterslag garden suburb is at its most splendid in the ‘Winterdlag church square’, the Evence Coppéesqueare.
It is a beautiful example of city planning and architecture from the 20s and 30s.
The holy Heart church de St.-Michielsschool and C-Mine are the eye catchers.
